...is the personal website of Hampton C. Wayt, a long-time  student of mid-20th Century design. 



Hampton's collection of original factory design artwork and models created between the 1930s and 1970s was exhibited in 2005 at the Petersen Automotive Museum of Los Angeles, California (www.petersen.org) in an exhibit entitled, "Driving Through Future's Past".  A book based on the exhibit and of the same title can be seen at www.kythepublishing.com.



Over the last six years he has owned five Tatra streamliners: three Tatra 87s , a 1935 T77, and a T97.   His first T87 is now in the permenant collection of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts (www.artsmia.org). Although he doesn not own a Tatra at present, he has plans to have one again in the future.



Presently, he is a Master's candidate at the Bard Graduate Center for Decorative Arts, Design, and Culture, in Manhattan, NY, USA.
